Tunable Dispersion Compensators

Tunable Dispersion Compensators can be used for chromatic dispersion management in DWDM systems. The WSDM 100G Series of modules are widely deployed in 40 Gb/s direct detect transmission links. Based on in-house micro-optics technology, these modules provide a cost-effective solution to minimize residual chromatic dispersion at the receiver, greatly reducing signal impairment.

Polarization Maintaining Coupler

Polarization maintaining couplers are now available from II-VI in a small micro-optics packaging format in addition to the cylindrical format. The small micro-optics package is ideal for integration in small form-factor pluggable transceivers such as the CFP, CFP2 and CFP4 line side transceivers.

Wavelength Locker

Wavelength lockers provide a stable reference to maintain the frequency stability of tunable DWDM lasers over its operating life. Internally sourced high precision optics and low cost hermetic package achieve extremely high thermal stability and provide a wide capture range.

Variable Optical Attenuator

II-VI Photonics variable optical attenuators (VOA) are based on MEMS technology. The robust package is hermetically sealed with laser welding. The product is offered as a pigtailed device or in various module configurations, such as VOA-array and VOA-array-multiplexer (VMUX) modules.
